Ael Myr now has a desktop app for Windows: the same game, world and account, in a window of its own. Get it with the Download for Windows button on the front page, or at https://aelmyr.com/download
It opens with a launcher where you pick your graphics, Direct3D 11 or OpenGL, and can turn VSync off to run past your screen's refresh rate.
The launcher shows the latest patch notes, and the app keeps itself up to date.
It keeps full speed behind other windows, and laptops with two graphics chips run it on the fast one.
The first time you open the installer, Windows may say "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
The browser still works as it always has.
Combat
Unhorse now drags the rider out of the saddle toward you, and everyone sees them fall to the ground and get back up. Trip knocks its target down the same way.
Other changes
You can change your password on the character screen, with Change password next to Log out.
