Dying

You fall where you stood and rise as a ghost. The world goes grey and the living cannot see you. Walk to the shrine's light in the fountain square, or use the Go to buttons to be carried to the shrine in Bramblewick, the one in the Rookery, or the nearest one. Bramblewick's shrine is under the guards and resurrects only the innocent: a criminal waits in its light until they are no longer a criminal, and a murderer can only go to the Rookery or the nearest shrine. Accept the shrine's offer to return at half strength. Resurrect standing over your own corpse and whatever is left on it goes back on your body.

When you die, everything you carried stays on your body, and anyone can take it. The body rots in ten minutes, so hurry back for your things.

Your starting clothes are blessed: they stay on you when you die.
